For the last sixteen years, he has owned and operated Green Prairie International together with his brother John. Building the hay exporting business from a small, three-person operation, the company currently has annual sales of $35 million.

Having sold his shares in Green Prairie, Edward has moved into the direction of land development and real-estate. He is currently involved in several projects, under the title of Broxburn Developments Inc.

Edward is married to Els, and together they have five children, ages 4 to 14. He enjoys reading, and is in the process of completing his Masters in Christian Business Leadership through the Rocky Mountain College. He has a heart for the Kingdom of God and the community, and is involved in various outreach endeavors.

As a family, they enjoy “horsing around” at their Lethbridge home and "Green Meadows equestrian centre Inc.".
